New Delhi: Actress Dia Mirza, who has been a part of social work and environmental protection work, has made a special appearance from Fans. The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year in September. Now that Dia Mirza has come out about this.

United Nations Environment Goodwill Ambassador Dia Mirza wants people to stop using plastic. Dia had a tweet for the Mumbai leaders on Tuesday that they contribute to the removal of plastic from pandals.

He wrote, "This year when we are thinking about Ganesh Festival, it would be incredible to see how our MPs, MLAs, and leaders will present their solidarity without plastics and plaster of Paris for clean India."

Dia, a worker working for a clean and green environment, hosted the 'Beat Plastic Pollution' awareness program in Delhi on World Environment Day (June 5th) this year. Dia Mirza had said that scenes of the use of plastic materials in films and commercials have made people use their "normal" thinking in real life without thinking.

However, he also said that many such platforms of dialogue are being developed to reduce the impact of those scenes. Dia also said that when the influential people of the big film stars or film industry refuses to use the same plastic used, the message goes a long way.
