Nawazuddin dedicated his IIFA award to Sridevi

New Delhi: Best Supporting Actor (Male) Award for 'Mom' was given to actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui at the 'International Indian Film Academy' (IIFA) Awards ceremony. Nawazuddin Siddiqui dedicated his award to the late legendary actress Sridevi, who was his co-star in the film. Sridevi has been awarded posthumously for Best Actress for his outstanding performance in the film.

On Sunday, the day after the Bangkok AIFA awards ceremony was held on Sunday, Nawazuddin tweeted, "I got the only chance to work with Bollywood's first superstar Sridevi and I dedicate my award to him."

Sridevi played the role of a mother who decided to take revenge for her stepdaughter in 'Mum' directed by Ravi. His stepdaughter was played by Pakistani actress Sajal Ali. Nawazuddin played the role of a detective who helped him. Nawazuddin seemed fantastic when taking the award from the evergreen actress Rekha. About the line, Nawaz said, "Rekha ji, you have put the program in the show by your presentation, it is a matter of honor for you to take prizes."

Nawazuddin dedicated his IIFA award to Sridevi

Sridevi's husband and filmmaker Boney Kapoor received the award from Sridevi. Emotional Bonnie dedicated this award to the team of 'Mom'. Sridevi died untimely in Dubai this year. Sridevi, actor Vinod Khanna and Shashi Kapoor were remembered during the tribute period of the ceremony. (Agency Input)
