Mumbai. In view of the World Environment Day on 5th June this year, Alan-e-Jung has been organized against plastic all over the world, in which Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities are taking part in the movement. Alia Bhatt has started this campaign in Bollywood. Campaigning is being run in social media by #BeatPlasticPollution.
Ali has tweeted, insisting on boycott of plastic bottles - "To use plastic steel to start using plastic or glass bottles from today. It takes 450 or more years for plastic bottles to be destroyed, by then it keeps the environment harmful. I have stepped in one step towards throwing plastic out of my life. Hope you guys will take these steps too. "

Alia has nominated Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor to take this challenge. Recognizing Alia's challenge, Arjun has started boycotting the plastic bottle. While sharing photos with steel bottles he has written: "To defeat the plastic, there is a need to take a single step. I have replaced the plastic bottle with a metal bottle. It's convenient and eco-friendly. "Arjun has challenged Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, and Parineeti Chopra.

Diya Mirza has adopted bio-plastic campaign while adopting biodegradable sanitary napkin. Given that they came to know that plastic is used in making most sanitary pads, so they have taken this step.
Juhi Chawla has challenged many film and cricket personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, to leave the plastic. To make it champion effective, Juhi has advised posting a selfie with a reusable option.
